Our Retail Art Gallery is looking for an accomplished Retail Sales Consultant who will enjoy helping customers find and purchase art that would become part of their lives, or the perfect original gift for someone. Our gallery is family owned, having been in Gastown for 40 years. We relocated to The Shipyards District of North Vancouver June 2021. Our new locations is beautiful.
RESPONSiBILITIES:
To engage in conversation that will endeavor to help you learn what visitors and clients may be looking for and enjoy discussing the art with them.
Building relationships with new and returning clients.
Processing sales including shipping arrangements or packing items for clients to take with them.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
Preferably several years of retail sales
Above average communication skills in spoken and written English
Reasonable computer skills
Interest in and curiosity about art and culture
Willingness to learn and continue learning about the art (resources provided)
This position offers base salary + commission on sales. 4 or 5 day work week.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $37,500.00-$50,000.00 per year
