**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data.

2. **Accounts Payable**:

- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval and coding.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and address any payment-related inquiries.

3. **Accounts Receivable**:

- Generate and send customer invoices promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address billing discrepancies.

4. **Payroll Processing**:

- Calculate and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.

5. **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

6. **Compliance and Auditing**:

- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and collaborate with auditors as needed.

7. **General Administrative Support**:

- Provide support to the management team with various administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive company data.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Simply) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of HVAC industry practices (preferred, but not required).

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant work experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
