Pharmacy Assistant/technician

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
- Prepare and package medications for distribution to patients
- Manage inventory and stock medications
- Enter prescription information into the computer system
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Assist patients and cuatomers with purchases and product selection
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent**:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in community pharmacy or sililar setting**:
- Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures and the importance of patient confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
