Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe handling and storage of ingredients - Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the Kitchen Manager - Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries of food products - Adhere to proper sanitation practices and maintain a clean work environment Experience: - Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred - Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team - Understanding of food safety regulations and practices If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.
