**Overview**

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible developing business, opening new retail accounts within the Region of British Columbia, as well as maintaining and driving sales in assigned regional accounts. Responsibilities include formulating plans, goals, and objectives to maximize new sales opportunities for Danby products to maintain successful, long-term relationships with our retail partners.

**Responsibilities**
- Build productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders, on all levels, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate an ability to build executive relationships at regional accounts.
- Identify opportunities and challenges within account base and create strategies to maximize sell through, profit, revenue, and market share.
- Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established by management.
- Prospecting new accounts, creating proposals, negotiating agreements, establishing pricing, and maintaining a strong overall relationship within the agreed budgets and time frames.
- Communicate value propositions to key accounts and be able to present and win new business.
- Establish and track an annual account budget, which includes sales and profits.
- Review and analyze the POS reporting to demonstrate results and understand where future opportunity may be.
- Conduct and/or receive weekly reviews of sales, RMAs, returns & allowances (R&A), quotes, promotions, sell through, inventory management, turns, forecasts, replenishment orders, backorders, and any other account activities that will impact financial results for the account(s). Resolve or delegate any issues that arise as a result of the reviews.
- Develop and negotiate terms and conditions, in collaboration with the sales director, for accounts to effectively manage overall profitability at each assigned account while maximizing our position.
- Provide customer recaps for all meetings.
- Understand, communicate, and always uphold Danby’s company values.
- Travel to trade shows and customer sites required.

**Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 years’ experience selling into the retail channel is desired
- Proven track record of sales growth and/or prospecting.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy is required.
- Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication
