**Position Overview**:
The role of Production Manager at Dynamic Precision Inc. ss crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Production Manager plays a central role in overseeing the production floor, managing personnel, and optimizing workflows to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Production Planning and Scheduling:
a. Develop production schedules in coordination with the Office Manager and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.

b. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands and deadlines.

c. Anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks or resource constraints to maintain smooth operations.

2) Resource Management:
a. Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

b. Coordinate with procurement and inventory departments to ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and components.

c. Optimize utilization of resources while controlling costs to meet budgetary targets.

3) Quality Assurance:
a. Enforce quality control procedures as directed by the Quality Manager to uphold the highest standards of product quality.

b. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

c. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.

4) Team Leadership and Development:
a. Supervise production staff, including Senior Machinist, Junior Machinist, Welders, and General Laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.

b. Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development to enhance the capabilities of the production workforce.

5) Safety and Compliance:
a. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

b. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, implementing measures to mitigate hazards and prevent accidents.

c. Stay informed about industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing operations and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance.

6) Continuous Improvement:
a. Champion initiatives for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements to enhance overall productivity.

b. Encourage feedback from production staff and implement suggestions for operational enhancements.

7) Manufacturing

a. Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, drill presses and other equipment as needed to meet the production schedule.

b. Perform regular preventative maintenance on the equipment, trouble shooting issues as needed.

**Qualifications**:
1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).

2) Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of machining experience.

3) Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

4) Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

5) Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems).

6) Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and safety regulations.

7) Continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to driving operational excellence.
