Job Summary
The role of the TBar Server is to receive and greet guests, take orders for food and beverage in accordance with the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety Legislation and licensing laws, present checks and receive payment for items consumed in TBar.

- Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages from guests in accordance with Langham brand standards and relative legislation.
Take food and beverage orders from guests using the point of sale system (Micros).
Speedy and accurate service of food and beverages to guests with necessary accompaniments.
Timely presentation of guest checks for payment.
Accurate posting of charges to guest accounts.
Answer any guest questions or direct them to another colleague who can assist them, always ensuring guest satisfaction.
Conducts him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues and managers.

- Preparation of bar for service. Duties to include ensuring cleanliness and the setting of tables with condiments, cutlery, side plates, menus and promotional material..
Order all drinks from Bartenders through Micros.
Picking up food orders from the kitchen
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar/dining area.
Adherence to liquor licensing regulations at all times.
Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment at all times.
Maintain efficient working usage of the Micros system and ensure that all orders are inputted into the system at the time of the order
Complete full closing procedures and morning set-up.

Replenish service items in readiness for next shift, including cutlery, roll-ups and resetting tables.

- Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
Ensure correct cash and credit card handling when closing out guest checks.
Daily reconciliation of cash receipts to sales receipt for deposit to the General Cashier.
Requirement
- **_Working Experience_**

Previous experience in a similar size establishment.
- Previous Guest Service experience.
- **_Knowledge_**
**_ _**
Good knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails.
- **_Education _**
Must possess Smart Serve certificate
- **_Soft Skills_**

Efficient and quick to learn.
- Pleasant attitude, outgoing personality.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication skills in the English language (Written and Verbal).
