**Key Responsibilities**:1. Team Management**:

- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.

**2. Operational Oversight**:

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies efficiently.
- Implement and maintain inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize cost-efficiency.

**3. Quality Control**:

- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Address and resolve any quality or customer service issues promptly.

**4. Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce and adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Ensure staff follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.

**5. Menu Development**:

- Collaborate with our team in developing and updating the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends.
- Assist with recipe development and modifications to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.

**6. Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses.
- Prepare and manage kitchen budgets, tracking expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
- Participate in regular management meetings and provide insights into kitchen performance and improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high standard of quality
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
