Indian Curry Chef

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Create and develop new menu items while ensuring consistency in quality
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, management, and suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
Pay: $16.55-$31.15 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
