This includes understanding and analyzing the OEB’s existing workflows and considering how to enhance the value and efficiency of adjudicative functions for both internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads implementation of technology projects on behalf of the Registrar’s Office, and works collaboratively with the OEB’s IT department and external consultants as required
- Helps develop and analyze business requirements leading to the design, development, and implementation of new technology in the Registrar’s Office, and the adjudicative process more broadly
- Works collaboratively with staff involved in the adjudicative process to establish business requirements and business processes
- Helps translate business requirements and business processes into functional and technical specifications and related business design documents
- Monitors and reports on project status and escalates projects at risk to management
- Maintains project documentation, such as business cases, project plans, status reports, change requests, and approvals
- Gains acceptance of proposed changes from diverse stakeholders
- Rolls out technology changes to staff, including providing training
- Communicates regularly and maintains proactive relationships with the OEB’s IT department and adjudicative technology users, both internal and external to the OEB

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree preferred in, but not limited to, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Graduate degree is an asset
- PMI, PMP, IIBA, ITIL certification an asset
- 5+ years’ experience working in Information Technology project management; 8+ years preferred
- Experience working in a regulated industry and/or at a tribunal is an asset
- Experience in the OEB’s adjudicative process and energy regulation in Ontario is an asset
- Previous experience in managing and leading technology projects of varying complexity and sensitivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that cater to all levels in the organization and externally
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate information, identify and analyze issues, and develop recommendations
- Adaptability to work effectively, and produce high-quality work, in a variety of situations and with various individuals or groups
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
- Experience using data analysis tools (Power BI, Power Apps, MS SQL, Oracle BI, Tableau, Python)
