**About E Clinic United Healing**:
E Clinic United Healing is a privately operated, inter-professional facility, that specializes in the treatment of patients of all ages who face conditions and injuries sustained from MVA(motor vehicle accidents). **_We are currently looking for a Clinic Receptionist for our Scarborough Clinic._**
**About the Position**:
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Available full-time hours between Monday-Friday between clinic hours of operations (40 hours varied scheduling)
- Physically required to attend and work in the Scarborough Clinic location
- Professional and effective communication verbally and written
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Opening and closing the clinic and ensuring the clinic is secured at the end of each shift;
- Arranging transportation services, confirming appointments, and scheduling appointments in the EMR and excel spreadsheets as required;
- Assisting with medical file administration (faxing, scanning, mailing, forwarding, etc.) and ensuring they are secured and stored in a timely manner;
- Monitor clients attendance and encourage and provide importance of attendance as required;
- Maintaining professionalism and being the first positive interaction with all stakeholders that walk into the clinic;
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required;
- Covering morning receptionist when away (vacation);
- Exceptional customer service and communication both written and verbal; and
- Other responsibilities as required.
**Education and Experience Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- _Clinic setting or MVA industry experience an asset and preferred_
- 1-3 years experience reviewing medical files
- College or university education in a related field
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Excellent customer service skills-professional language, tone and demeanour that is suitable for stakeholders
- Empathetic and respectful of clients and their circumstances
- Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written
- Critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills to analyze and interpret information
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, clients, colleagues, external partners and providers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Multi-tasking, time management, planning and organizing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
