**Job description**

Reporting to our Head of Maintenance, the Maintenance Technician will support be providing skilled maintenance and engineering to our production team.

This a fulltime position in office, Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Regularly inspect systems, and equipment to identify potential issues
- Maintenance on various machines used in the production and manufacturing of windows.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance, and maintain a record of maintenance tasks
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory
- General Housekeeping - maintain tools, shop area and parts storage in good working order
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Perform other duties as required

**Responsibilities**
- Has a minimum of 2yrs of Maintenance experience
- A degree in engineering, trade certificate, or technical diploma related to maintenance is an asset.
- Experience with PLC programming
- Experience with Pneumatic Machinery
- Preference for experience in Windows and Doors manufacturing equipment
- 2yrs Experience servicing electrical equipment
- Experience with welding considered an asset
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Mechanically inclined and have manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
