- **Warranty Clerk/Tower Operator** to join our fantastic team**Job Purpose**

The Warranty Clerk/Tower Operator prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the factory and distributors for defective parts under the guidance and supervision of the Warranty Administrator. You will be required to perform Tower Operator duties from time to time based on management requirements and instructions.**Core Accountabilities**
- Process warranty claims.
- Gather, label and return all warranty parts in a timely manner.
- Be familiar with current manufacturer and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all required documents are attached to work orders.
- Verify criteria required by factory or distributor.
- Post credits on computer.
- Prepare warranty reports as needed for Warranty Administrator and/or Service Manager.
- Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
- Ensure work orders are being properly closed in a timely manner.
- Reconcile flooring interest statements.
- Reconcile selected vendor accounts.
- Serves as a Service Coordinator assistance as required by Service Manager.
- Stays up to date with manufacturer training.
- Support Service Advisors and Technicians with Warranty related questions.
- Perform as a Tower Operator, based on management requirements and instructions.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, Reynolds and Reynolds and/or ADP software.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service. Including written and verbal skills to communicate with all Service Staff and Management.
- Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Some knowledge of auto parts.
- Two years of experience in a general office position.
- Ability to use computer, ten-key, microfiche machines, and to read vendor catalogues.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
