The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Controller or designate. The Accounts Payable Clerk will provide significant support to the Finance and Accounting activities along with providing support for administrative activities.

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must have post-secondary education in Business Administration or Business Accounting related field or possess relevant experience.
- Demonstrated: o effective communication and organizational skills, o ability to provide efficient and professional service, o strong attention to detail and displays a high level of accuracy, o effective communication and organizational skills, o teamwork and problem-solving skills, and o proficiency in all forms of written communications.
- Proven positive attitude.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and work prioritization skills.
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities
- Support the Finance and Accounting teams in departmental activities such as: o Preparing expense reports and maintaining files.

Complete filing for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Activities.
- Enter invoices for payment processing.
- Check and match remittance slips to Invoices Paid. Ensure appropriate approvals are attained.
- Facilitate appropriate follow up with appropriate parties to ensure vendor and banking information is accurate.
- Ensure timely response time to IGPC’s vendors and suppliers. o Support year-end accounting activities.
- Provide direct administrative and office management support to all members of the IGPC team, as directed by verbal or written instruction.
- Provide daily checks on ethanol bills of lading (BOL) and organize distiller’s BOL’s.
- Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Work in compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and Legislation.
- Report all workplace incidents to the Controller or designate.
- Act as a representative of the company when communicating with customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and willingness to work as a group toward solutions.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively understand, listen, verbalize, and write information.
- Perform other duties as delegated.
