**Job Title: City Dispatcher**

**Location: Montreal, Quebec**

The GTI Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing transportation and logistics company committed to providing efficient and reliable services. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a City Dispatcher in Montreal.

**Job Overview**:
As a City Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods within the city. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries, resolve logístical issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispatching: Efficiently plan and dispatch local deliveries and pickups, considering factors such as route optimization, driver availability, and customer requirements.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, providing instructions, updates, and addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage daily schedules for drivers, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures while maximizing productivity.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly address and resolve any logístical challenges, delays, or issues that may impact delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and any incidents or deviations from the planned route.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the efficient flow of operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and regulations in Montreal.
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dispatching software and systems is a plus.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
