We are seeking a dedicated and motivated **Junior Dispatcher** to join our team. As a Junior Dispatcher, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and scheduling of our company's transportation operations. Your primary role will be to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services by effectively communicating with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong organizational and communication skills and have a keen interest in logistics and operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior dispatchers in coordinating and scheduling transportation operations.
- Monitor and track the movement of vehicles and delivery progress using GPS tracking systems.
- Communicate with drivers to assign routes and provide necessary instructions for timely and efficient delivery.
- Receive incoming calls from customers and address their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Update and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including addresses, time of departure, time of arrival, and any relevant notes or incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse staff and customer service representatives, to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, logs, and records related to dispatch activities.
- Monitor and manage driver schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to established timelines.
- Identify and escalate any issues or challenges that may arise during transportation operations to senior dispatchers or supervisors.
- Assist in optimizing delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to transportation and logistics.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, preferably in customer service.
- Strong communication skills in both **English and French**, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in maintaining records and logs.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety guidelines is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to resolve issues and optimize operations.
