**Duties would include**:

- Campaign Development: Design and execute marketing campaigns aimed at recruiting local resource families, with a focus on those willing to care for children and youth of different ages, including children and youth with special needs.
- Advertising Management: Work with media outlets to create effective advertisements for social media, television, radio, city streets, buses, local newspapers, and magazines. Ensure that ads clearly explain the role of a resource parent and the agency's requirements.
- Community Engagement: Engage with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders to raise awareness about the need for resource families and to encourage community support. with an intentional focus on recruiting caregivers from Indigenous, Black, Racialized and 2SLGBTQ+ communities
- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in community events, information sessions, and workshops to promote resource parenting and recruit new caregivers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with agency staff to understand the needs of children and youth and ensure that recruitment strategies align with those needs. Connect with other child welfare/wellbeing agencies and OACAS to share recruitment strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, applicant information, and campaign results. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and make improvements as needed.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.

(c)**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing, recruitment, or community outreach, preferably within a social services or non-profit environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to promote and support an inclusive, anti-racist and anti-colonial culture within the sector
- Values that are aligned with those of the agency
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Understanding of the foster care system and the challenges faced by children and youth in care would be considered an asset.

Preference will be given to persons with extensive experience working with other cultural and/or 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and/or possess lived experience within these communities.
