Summer Arts Programming (TOROS)
**Location**: North Bay, West Ferris Secondary School
**Position Description**:
The Producer is responsible for the coordination of all business components related to mounting a theatre production. This includes managing the budget, raising money required to fund production elements as necessary, and overseeing the resources and expenditures related to the production. This includes publicity, marketing, and box office sales.
The Producer is responsible for coordinating rehearsal space and the performance venue. The Producer will collaborate with the director to create a timeline and set deadlines for various aspects of the production to ensure on-time delivery of the production.
**Hours**: The contract will span the length of the production with most work occurring during the month of July and first week of August. This includes some necessary preparatory hours before the official commencement of Summer School to ensure adequate planning time.

**Qualifications**:
Experience in the selection and production of a musical theatre production (an asset)
Experience in the selection and production of a musical theatre production
Experience in previous TOROS productions or related experience
Proven business knowledge
Ability to develop and manage budgets
Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and creative platforms
Attend regular meetings and work closely with a supervisor as part of a team
Provide progress updates as required
Develop staff roles and implement expectations
Hire and supervise staff with assistance from a Coordinating Principal
**Wage**: to be determined at time of interview/offer
**Hours**: The contract will span the length of the production with most work occurring during the month of July and the first week of August. This includes some necessary preparatory hours occurring before the official commencement of Summer School to ensure adequate planning time. Preparatory work will take place February through June.
