The Small Business Banking Risk strategy team is responsible for the development, monitoring and execution of credit risk automation strategies and initiatives that will assist our business partners in achieving growth and profitability while supplying effective challenge to maintain the overall risk quality of our lending portfolios.

The team supports SBB business growth within TD's risk appetite. The core function of team is to build Automated Risk Decisions (ARD) using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) models to get faster and more consistent credit decisions.

The intern will be working on key projects on SBB ARD development/enhancement. This may include:

- Participate in the ARD design for SBB auto adjudication, including credit risk analysis, impact assessment and loss estimation.
- Conduct performance review on the ARD to test the effectiveness of various decision keys and identify opportunities for enhancement (higher automation and better risk control).
- Support the ARD implementation and testing, which includes communicating the business requirements to Technology and running test cases to ensure the ali gnment between ARD design and implementation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in an **undergraduate degree**in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/ Commerce or related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
- Self-motivated : strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude
- Prior knowledge of SAS/Python /SQL/Tableau would be considered an asset
