Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team at the Vancouver Branch. (Office Location - 19175 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6). This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires an independent and reliable person to perform the responsibilities outlined below.**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment. Saws, Shears, brake press, vacuum lifters, CNC equipment, cranes, engines, Pneumatic systems, forklifts, fleet vehicles, small engines.
- Assist with installation of new equipment, rebuilds, system modifications and upgrades.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and all safety systems are operational at all times.
- Maintain records of work performed, repairs, labor hours and materials consumed.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure that work practices are compliant with WorkSafe BC and CSA safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Experience in related field is an asset. I.e., Millwright, HD mechanic, mechanic, small engines etc.
- Mechanical knowledge, which includes knowledge of tools and materials.
- Hardworking and reliable team player.
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Welding experience considered an asset.
- Red seal certification considered an asset.
- Electrical trouble shooting considered an asset.
