**Position Overview**

With the ability to self-perform across our diverse business offering and a strategic fabrication network, Aecon Industrial proactively and profitably manages projects across a diverse range of industrial business areas. (Renewable Energy, Natural Gas Distribution, Oil and Gas, Water, Mining, Cogeneration Energy, Chemical, etc.). Aecon Industrial is also known for the pioneering of prefabricated piping services to better manage site labour and the integration of specialized coating systems into the fabrication process.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Administrator Project Accounting - Summer Student is responsible for all accounting, payroll and administrative functions that support the Industrial East business and any other assigned projects.

**Please note this is a 4-month or 8 month contract position.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provides general administrative support.
- Logs third party billings and invoices in a timely manner. Updates daily records of LEMs.
- Assists with sending and receiving third party invoices to site.
- Assists with invoice preparations at month end.
- Tracks and maintains manual processes.
- Generates and saves weekly standard reports.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**
- Experience in project administration is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing functions.
- Strong computer skills - SAP, MS Excel, MS Word.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with others as a member of a team.
- Ability to stay productive under mínimal supervision.
- A quick learner, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a construction site environment.
