**Job Title: Meat Cutter and Seafood Counter Worker**

**Location**: Loblaw City Market, 3185 Arbutus St.

**Position Type**: Full-Time/Part-Time

As a Meat Cutter and Seafood Counter Worker, you will play a dual role in our store. You will be responsible for both cutting and preparing meats and assisting customers at our seafood counter. This role requires a blend of technical skills in meat and seafood preparation, as well as excellent customer service abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Meat Cutter Duties**:

- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and more, according to store standards.
- Ensure all meat products meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized meat cutting area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of meat products as needed.

**Seafood Counter Duties**:

- Prepare and display a variety of seafood products, including fish, shellfish, and prepared seafood items.
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, answering questions and offering cooking advice.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the seafood counter and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the freshness and quality of seafood products.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in meat cutting and/or seafood preparation is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong interest in learning and developing skills in both meat and seafood preparation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
