**Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Maintain excellent customer service
- Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff and customers
- Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure yard areas and equipment are organized and clean, including washing equipment/trailers
- Review products entering the yard to ensure they match corresponding BOL’s
- Work with shipping team to receive products in a timely manner
- Assist customers with trailer hookups
- Obey Traffic Safety Act regulations and be aware of surrounding and potential hazards while operating company vehicles/equipment (ie: forklifts & compact wheel loaders)
- Monitor trailer & equipment placement in the yard
- Report all damage and concerns to management

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Recognize the importance of establishing relationships with customers and providing a great customer experience
- Possess knowledge of enclosed trailers and flat decks, including how they operate
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products up to 55lbs
- Clean drivers abstract and clean criminal record
- Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- A positive “can do” attitude and work well with others
- Have a great work ethic and eager to learn new things
- Good communication skills and willingness to help out other team members
- Forklift/Loader Certification (an asset) will train if you do not have
