**Benefits as a Yard Technician/Swamper**:

- Hourly Rate of $23-28/Hour, depending on experience
- **Overtime pay of 1.5x **your hourly rate for hours after 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week.

**Yard Technician/Swamper Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside Heavy Equipment to load and unload pipe and accessories
- Use power and manual tools to create blocking on wood lengths to be placed in-between tiers of pipes
- Use handheld scanners to record each piece of inventory
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, sorting, packing and unpacking
- Actively participate in company safety meetings, procedures and programs; correct unsafe work practices or situations; follow reporting protocols for violations; participate in the Hazard Identification process
- Perform other duties as required, including, but not limited to effective yard and warehouse clean-up, yard maintenance, administrative duties and operating company vehicle as required

**Yard Technician/Swamper Requirements**:

- Manual labor work experience in an industrial setting
- Forklift and Electric Pallet Truck operation experience and certificate, an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day; ability to walk / stand for duration of shift
- Comfortable working outside for long durations in varied weather conditions
- Experience and comfortability working around heavy equipment
