**Job Type**: In-Person

**Location**: Tillsonburg Custom Foods, 50 Chisholm Dr, Ingersoll, ON N5C 2C6

**Shift timing**: Monday
- Friday ,7:30 am to 4:00 pm

**Pay**: $22-$24/ hr (based on work experience)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership and Supervision**: Provide leadership and supervision to Quality Control team by offering work direction, addressing quality and safety issues.
- **Training Employees**: Organize and conduct training sessions on food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personal hygiene, and company policies to ensure that all employees adhere to the TCF standards.
- **Audit Assistance**: Assist in maintaining compliance with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standard, Organic audits, and other customer audits requirements.
- **Quality Control Monitoring**: Monitor, verify, and conduct on-site quality control tasks to ensure that all products meet quality standards throughout the production process.
- **HACCP and SOP Updates**: Assist in updating and maintaining Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they reflect current practices and regulations.
- **Environmental Monitoring and Hold & Release Program**: Oversee the environmental monitoring program and manage the hold and release program to ensure product safety and quality of raw and finished goods.
- **New Product Development**: Develop new product specifications and labels, including development of nutritional values and claims to ensure compliance with labeling regulations.
- **Customer Complaint Investigation**: Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
- **Record Maintenance**: Maintain accurate and organized records of QC and sanitation paperwork.
- **Approved Supplier Program**: Ensure all supplier requirements are met as per the TCF approved supplier program. Verify that supplier certifications are current and valid, and maintain updated records to ensure ongoing compliance.
- **Backup Support**: Act as a backup for the QC Technician and cover production lines during the QC Technician’s absence.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Degree in a related field and HACCP certification will be considered as an asset.
- Experience: At least 3 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Food Safety in the food industry.
- Skills: Familiar with GMP and GFSI (SQFI) certifications.
- Strong communicator in English and proficient in Microsoft Office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
