**FOH Supervisor**

Pine & Thistle Kitchen + Bar is looking for a FOH Supervisor to join our team and provide an excellent guest experience. We are a family-owned and operated restaurant in downtown Crossmount, SK. We in fresh, local ingredients. We are looking for a personable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and has a passion for hospitality.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory & FOH supplies and check inventory
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food safety protocol guidelines
- Maintain a clean work area
- Ensure presentation of Pine & Thistle is up to standard
- Update blackboard with new daily features
- Write down orders
- Check tables regularly
- Write down reservations
- Ability to work off-site 'tasting' events

**Physical and Mental Requirements**
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.
- Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory roll at least 1 year
- Knowledge of mixing drinks and the art of public communication with customers and co-workers
- Ability to manage an area and make it your own
- Ability to keep detailed records of customer visits and work logs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime work
- Serve it Right certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Works well in a team environment
- Has a can do attitude and is willing to help with any job
- Must have own vehicle, valid drivers license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serve It Right Saskatchewan (required)
