**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**:

- This position is to ensure that the material and tools are ready for the crew use
- Responsible for inspecting and maintaining lifting devices and hand tools. Also, having the ability to notify Foreman defective tools and equipment
- Familiarity with the process of how pipe is installed is put in the ground and being able to anticipate what is needed to the fellow workers in the trench.
- Knowledgeable of using a variety of hand tools and ability to cut pipe of various material
- Read grade stakes and have the ability to set up laser
- Working knowledge of pipe and fittings utilized in sewer and water main work.
- Ability to work with others and take direction from the foreman on site
- Help locate and expose underground utilities by hand
- Ability to complete work efficiently and correctly with mínimal supervision
- Work in a safe manner to ensure safety of self and co-workers
- Good organizational skills with the ability to look ahead
- Not only limited to above

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3-5 years of experience working in a construction industry
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation is required
- Health and Safety training/Knowledge
- Confined Space, trenching and excavation, First Aid/CPR an asset
- Hoisting & Rigging Training
- Ability to work in all different types of weather conditions
- Potential for weekend work and working nights as needed
