Sanitation Manager

Responsibilities of the Role:

- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to Sanitation Employees, as well as assign and plan their daily workload
- Effectively communicate with Production Supervisors and Maintenance Department to ensure all lines are cleaned and running prior to start up.
- Ensure all HACCP procedures and requirements are fulfilled by Sanitation Employees
- Ensure that all work is performed safely while following OHSA, WHMIS, and other Company regulations and procedures
- Set sanitation standards and improving upon current practices in cleaning and sanitizing
- Utilize equipment, supplies and personnel to maximize sanitation effectiveness.
- Responsible for training sanitation staff on proper procedures for sanitizing production equipment and the use of new chemicals.

Qualifications:

- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- At least 3 years experience in a food processing plant as lead hand or supervisor, preferably in a sanitation environment
- Must be able to communicate and work well with others as part of a team, demonstrating politeness, respect, and courtesy in communication and daily interactions
- Must be able to provide clear, concise general instructions for team effectiveness and productivity
- Must be willing to contribute and foster a safe working environment
- Must be able to prioritize, work well under pressure with tight deadlines
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
