**THE ROLE**
The Soldier On Operations team is a decentralized group of passionate and detail-oriented achievers who deliver the annual Soldier On operational program across Canada, and internationally. They plan and conduct the coordination and safe execution of sport, recreational and creative pursuits to inspire, empower and enable the recovery of ill and injured serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Veterans. The Operations Team acts as the front-line points of contact for all eligible Soldier On members within their respective regions, and are responsible to Soldier On Headquarters, and responsive to Regional Canadian Armed Forces Transition Unit (CAF TG/TU) elements.

The Coordinator, Soldier On Operations, reports directly to the Senior Manager, Operations or their delegate and will support administrative and logistics efforts of Soldier On Program Delivery. They assist the Senior Manager, Operations with various projects, including High Profile Games team management, travel arrangements, preparation of reports, and ensuring the accuracy of data entry. They are flexible and able to refocus efforts on changing priorities, and are able to travel occasionally. They are effective and efficient communicators, able to professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders, as well as Soldier On members, to support Soldier On programming. The successful applicant should have a good understanding of the CFMWS and CAF organizations and be a proactive and energetic team-player.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

College diploma or certificate in a related field AND several years of experience in administration or a related field

**Experience**
- In organizing and administering programs and projects
- In preparing reports, correspondence and other communications
- In administrative functions and activities
- In planning, developing and conducting presentations, seminars, meetings, events, and/or conferences
- In budget development and administration

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**OTHER INFORMATION**
- Fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs are delivered by PSP on Bases, Wings and Units across Canada and in deployed operations. PSP delivers evidence-based programs, which contribute to the health and well-being of the military community and operational effectiveness of the CAF.
- This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
