**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager of PICU, the Ward Clerk performs a variety of reception and clerical duties required for the efficient operation of the unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: data entry, including database entry; ordering and maintaining supplies; required transport functions; answering phones; placing calls to staff as required and payroll duties as required.

**Hours of Work**:
Rotating 12-hour shifts, 24/7 coverage

**Your Qualifications**:

- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a recognized Office Administration Program preferred
- Data entry skills required
- Knowledge of Meditech preferred
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully work with a variety of inter-professional team members required
- High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail, and self-discipline/focus
- Commitment to continual learning and willing to share knowledge and support the development of co-workers
- Demonstrated commitment to Family Centered Care required
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills required
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Competencies in other languages an asset
