**Description**:
The Parking lot attendant monitors and directs traffic in the EFC parking lots to ensure safety of all customers while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include performing administrative duties related to billing, payment processing and uniforms.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor parking lot to ensure safety and efficiency for all customers.
- Direct traffic in parking lots to optimize the flow of vehicles.
- Ensure adherence of corporate, departmental and OH&S policies and procedures.
- Process payments for the parking lot.
- Issue receipts to customers.
- Receive, sort, track, and ship uniforms for employees at all EFC sites.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and external agencies through respectful communication.
- Maintaining and clean the security truck.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service.
- Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and Initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as required.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Previous experience in the aviation industry in a similar role would be an asset.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (not GDL).
- 3 years of driving experience.
- Airport Security Clearance and Driver’s Abstract is required as a condition of employment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Must work shift work, weekends and stat holidays.
- Able to work inclement weather, overtime and extended shifts.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to lift or move up to 30 lbs independently.
- Highly motivated and able to work with mínimal or no supervision.
- Basic mathematics, trouble shooting skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- A strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent.
- Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the EFC Team.
