**Responsibilities**:

- Sets up, operates and repairs the machinery;
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials and orthographic drawings;
- Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available,

anticipated stock and placing orders;
- Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three-and four-jaw chucks, tools

and attachments;
- Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position;
- Verifies setting by measuring positions, first-run part and sample workpieces;
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting;
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions;
- Documents actions by completing production and quality log.

**Requirements/Skills**:

- A keen eye for detail**;**
- Analytical Skills reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints, models and other
technical specifications related to the job;
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM;
- Engineering skills, particularly mechanical engineering;
- Problem solving to provide clients and employers with solutions for complex issues

and quickly establish those solutions;
- Multitasking;
- Team Player;
- Adaptability to frequent changes in the work environment;
- Prioritizing competing demands and unexpected delays in production.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
