**About us**
- Conventional machine shop located in Montreal, Quebec;
- Industrial lathe, milling, welding and CNC services;
- Equipped to carry out small personal projects on request;
- Provide solutions for all projects, from design to final product;
- Specialized work with metals (aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) and plastics (HDPE, Peek, Polycarbonate, etc.);
- More than 50 years of experience in the industry;
- Distinctive craftsmanship for repair services;
- Available for emergency repairs;
**Duties**:

- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Machinist
- Familiarity in using AutoCad software for design
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Skilled in using hand tools for assembly and disassembly of machinery parts
- Adequate knowledge of machining principles and techniques
- Welding experience is a plus
- Familiarity with operating a milling machine is preferred

**Salary**: $20.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
