Core services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, augmentative and alternative communication, family services and therapeutic recreation.

Niagara Children’s Centre is hiring for a:
**COMMUNICATIVE DISORDERS ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY 1.0 FTE, 18 Month Contract)**

**Please note, the Centre is currently looking to fill a temporary CDA position with a focus on Entry to School, Preschool Language Services and School Based Rehab Services**
- Successfully completed a Communicative/Communication Disorders Assistant program at a recognized college/university
- A sound understanding and skill in the practice of Communication Disorders with an interest or background in autism, preschool or school based rehab services
- Ability to work effectively with children, youth and families both in-person and virtually through video-enabled telepracticing
- Effectively manage changing caseload
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Bilingualism considered an asset
- Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications
- Access to a vehicle and possession of a driver’s license valid in Ontario

**This position is a member of the bargaining unit which is represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and as such will be bound under the terms of the collective agreement.**
