**JOB SUMMARY**

AGLC is looking for a dynamic, professional to join our Strategic Planning branch.

As AGLC’s next Strategy and Performance Advisor, you will work as a key contributor in delivering and aligning strategy, business planning, performance, and reporting work across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning & Performance, this role is responsible for working collaboratively with business areas to translate strategies into business priorities to help measure organizational progress, develop planning and reporting documents, and provide strategic research and analysis.

The key to your success is strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate discussions, negotiate solutions, deliver presentations, and prepare audience-centric materials. Additionally, approaching all work with a continuous improvement mindset.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, this position is responsible for:

- Designing and preparing both written and visual audience-centric content for a variety of internal and external reports to demonstrate progress in achievement of Strategic and Business Plans.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and align organizational/divisional business strategies and plans.
- Proactively monitoring best practices in other jurisdictions, industry and academia to identify corporate planning and performance best practices and improvements applicable to AGLC.
- Supporting the establishment of performance measures, including regularly monitoring, analyzing and evaluating to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement.

You must demonstrate initiative and be self-driven, while being a collaborative team player. You should also have the ability to take on multiple projects, assignments and tasks, and complete work in a timely fashion at the highest level of quality.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- A University Degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or related degree
- Two (2) years progressive strategic and/or business planning experience
- Two (2) years business/executive-level writing experience.
- Facilitation experience is an asset.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships is an asset.
- Ability to create and manage work plans is an asset.
- Experience in research, evaluation, performance measurement and e-scanning is an asset.
- Experience in customer experience, business analytics, critical thinking, and analysis of complex issues and/or logic modelling is an asset.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or equivalent is an asset.
