**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize advanced carpentry skills to construct, assemble, and finish wood products according to design specifications.
- Use and operate various powered tools and equipment, such as saws, routers, and planers, CNC, to cut and shape wood components according to the project design
- Ensure the highest level of precision and attention to detail in all woodworking tasks, from saw cutting and shaping to finishing and installation.
- Read blue prints and drawings as required
- Create joints and connections, such as dovetails, mortise and tenon, and other types of joinery, to assemble components
- Take part in any carpentry task required as directed by shop manager and work with other team members as needed
- Maintain and operate woodworking tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Assemble and fit together components to create finished products such as cabinets, doors, and furniture
- Install finished millwork products on-site, ensuring they fit correctly and meet the design specifications
- Accurately measure and lay out components to ensure precision and adherence to project specifications
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the fabrication or installation process
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a skilled carpenter, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse woodworking projects.
- Proficient in using a variety of woodworking tools and equipment.
- CNC experience is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of millwork carpentry, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in the workshop.

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
