Qualifications:

- Graduate of recognized College i.e.; Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario - O. Reg. 246/22, s. 51 or other relevant health designation, such as Therapeutic Recreation, diploma/degree
- Passionate about dementia care and current with dementia best practice and evidence
- Education in an emotion-based model of care an asset
- 2 years experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) or dementia care preferred
- 5 years of experience in a formal leadership position preferred
- Project Management training and experience as a lead in a significant project preferred
- Change Management certification and experience in initiating a significant change is an asset
- Facilitator training and experience as a facilitator and educator
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- People management including mentoring, coaching, performance management, hiring and termination.
- Drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing project management methodology preferred
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
- Must be computer literate, including Google Suite
- Visionary and inspirational, emotional intelligence
- Post-secondary education in research and numerology
