**Production Foreman**

Obsidian Energy has an excellent opportunity for a Production Foreman in the Peace River operating area. The Production Foreman role is a critical leadership role within Obsidian Energy and provides visible leadership to instill engagement, performance and accountability to all operating staff and contractors to ensure the area business plan is executed successfully.

**Responsibilities**
- Duties include the following, but are not limited to:_
- Provide direct coaching, guidance and support to operating staff and contractors to consistently meet or exceed Obsidian Energy expectations, including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, environment, health, safety and training, regulatory, corporate values, policy administration, community relations and emergency response;
- Establish and execute field level business and strategic plan (ie. production volume targets, health and safety, OPEX, reliability);
- Provide continuous leadership to operations (ie. optimization of facilities, preventative maintenance, reporting, regulatory compliance, community relations);
- Drive top-end operator performance (i.e. mentoring, leadership, performance management);
- Develop and maintain effective relations with key stakeholders; and
- Maximize profitability.

**Qualifications**
- 10+ years of oil and gas operating experience
- Previous leadership experience and proven leadership skills
- Business and strategic planning knowledge and experience
- Ability to enhance production through developing innovative approaches
- Possesses excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiar with PVR production accounting system
- Must live in the Peace River area
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
