**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

LEADERSHIP

1. Manage and motivate the team, providing guidance, support, and provide or arrange training as needed

2. Allocate work assignments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards

3. Collaborate with other departments or teams, such as parts procurement or sales, to facilitate smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment for both employees and customers

OPERATIONS:
1. Monitor and review the progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met, and any issues or delays are promptly addressed

2. Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications

3. Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair projects, ensuring that resources, equipment, and materials are available and utilized efficiently

4. Maintain and update service records, including work orders, repair logs, and customer information, ensuring accuracy and completeness

5. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills to improve shop operations

SALES:
1. Provide service and quotes to customers regarding product manufacturing and/or repairs

**QUALIFICATIONS**

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

- Technical or vocational training in a machining, mechanical, fabrication/welding field
- Proven experience as a Red Seal journeyperson, with a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and repair procedures (10+ years)
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a shop or service center environment (5+ years)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of shop equipment and tools, including diagnostic equipment and hand tools, and machine diagnostic techniques

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/WORK CONDITIONS:
1. This role is on-site/in-shop, Campbell River, BC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $115,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
