**About the Role**:
Working in the Quality Control Lab at Ferrero Canada, the Chemistry Lab - Co-op will aid in conducting Chemistry analysis and inspections of raw materials, in-process and finished products to evaluate quality and safety. Ensuring that all analysis is carried out in compliance with Safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Group’s standard.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Check raw ingredients, in-process and finished products for safety and quality adhere to food standards, production specifications, safety regulations, waste management and water supply specifications.
- Analysis following ISO 17025 on food ingredients for flavor, texture, color, nutritional content, etc.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus and prepare solutions, reagents, and sample formulations.
- Ensure that procedures are performed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Guarantee that the finished products meet the quality specifications established by Ferrero.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Knowledge of microbiological procedures and techniques, GMPs and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good oral and written communication skills
