POSITION:
Customer Inventory Coordinator (Contract)

DESCRIPTION:
Reporting into the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Customer Inventory Coordinator will coordinate stock replenishment, inventory level management, and order execution for The Beer Store (TBS) to achieve 100% in stock while minimizing obsolescence with the ultimate goal of a competitive advantage in market.

This is an eight (8) month contract from May - December 2023.

**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively monitor TBS store and distribution centre inventories, ensuring 100% in-stock while minimizing old code potential- Thoroughly review orders and make recommendations to adjust as appropriate- Enter TBS orders into Oracle, then release to warehouse management software for shipping- Communicate regularly with supply chain, distribution, and sales regarding order changes, service failures, or complaints- Enter, track, and provide monthly updates on TBS discrepancies- Assist with reporting of daily / weekly customer service metrics- Arrange adequate inventory for TBS lobby displays, tastings, and various other promotions- Support adherence to quality and food safety standards as required- Perform other related duties as required

**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or related field- Minimum 2 years in inventory management or a related role-
- Excellent customer service skills- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and ability to work in a fast paced environment- Demonstrates effective relationship building capability and the ability to influence- Strong interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Acceptable criminal records check- Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization

Working Conditions:
- In-office position (5 days/week)- Overtime may be required- Manual dexterity require for prolonged computer use
