Deli Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. **Duties**:

- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food is presented in an appealing manner and meets quality standards
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and display cases with deli products
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detai

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.25-$20.43 per hour
