Job Overview:
Reporting t the Executive Director, the Program Director will work under the mission and values of kcs Association to successfully oversee all early learning programs, education teams, and manage/coordinate services to meet the individual needs of children with special needs.

**Duties**:

- Work with a highly motivated team of educators to deliver quality educational programs to children aged 2-6 by acting as a resource, support person, and leader
- Provide leadership, supervision and training for employees within the portfolio of the program
- Manage Early Intervention specialty supports for children with exceptional learning needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational regulations and standards
- Financial management and reporting, budgetary management
- Administrative management

Qualifications:

- Level 3 certification in Early Learning
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of English language and grammar
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Proven leadership skills and team management
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices and Early Learning and Childcare Act
- Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Office Suite

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and requirements

A clear criminal record check and child intervention check is required.

We are a licensed program and participate in the Government of Alberta Wage Enhancement Program.
