Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Wine Consultant who embodies **stability, warmth, and trustworthiness**. This role is ideal for a wine lover with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of leading lively and engaging conversations with diverse clientele. As a Wine Consultant, you will provide enjoyable and professional wine tasting experiences, ensuring each customer leaves more connected with our brands.

**Duties**:

- Engaging customers in conversations to understand their wine preferences and offer suitable recommendations
- Conducting indoor and outdoor wine tastings and product demonstrations to showcase featured wines
- Building enduring relationships with the winery's loyal customers by offering reliable and enjoyable experiences.
- Restocking shelves as necessary, ensuring the store layout remains tidy and organized.
- Handling online and phone orders, including processing payments, packaging wine, and providing after-sale services etc.
- Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, processing transactions accurately using cashiering and cash handling skills
- Performing routine housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and organized store environment to create an inviting atmosphere for customers

Requirement:

- Valid Smart Serve Certification
- Age of 18 or older
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all types of customers.
- A passion for wine and desire to continually learn more about the industry.
- **Skilled in upselling and adept at handling upscale products and clientele, with a keen ability to enhance customer purchases by providing premium service and knowledgeable recommendations of high-quality products.**:

- Must be a team player, willing to support and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of customer preferences

**Experience**:

- **Prior Winery experience is not necessary**:

- **Prior experience in high-end restaurants, hotels and a broader luxury market is strongly preferred**

Supplement Pay:
**Tips are provided by the customers directly (The company does not share the tips with the staff).**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
