Ground Effects is looking for a
**Human Resources Supervisor** in Oshawa, Ontario. The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day delivery of a variety of HR best practices and services supporting company objectives, coach and coordinate a team of Human Resources professionals to ensure courteous and efficient service to support our internal and external customers’ needs and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with regards to all activities in the Human Resources Department.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources
- CHRP/CHRL designation preferred
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have a good knowledge of provincial regulations
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- HR intermediate generalist relating to all areas of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, training, performance management, compensation and benefits.
- Provides employee services that meet the needs of employees, facilitates problem solving of employee concerns, manages employee information and provides employment related information in a timely manner.
- Support, mentor, coach and train direct reports to maintain the highest level of customer service and productivity
- Assists in the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of company-wide total wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with policy development and implementation of human resources programs that meet employee and company needs
- Compile HR metrics, analyzing, reporting and identifying trends with recommendations for management review.
- Conduct research, review best practices and prepare recommendations for changes or enhancements to current HR practices (i.e. policies/process; etc.).
- Conduct internal audits to identify non-conformances and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Recommend solutions to HR team members concerning HR program delivery and compliance with legislative requirements.
