**Votre contribution**

Le gestionnaire, Communications stratégiques, est chargé d’élaborer des plans complets de sensibilisation et de mobilisation des clients et des intervenants pour le Sénat du Canada et ses comités, et d’en chapeauter la mise en œuvre. Au fait des activités du Sénat, il est responsable de la gestion des services de rédaction pour les différentes équipes de la direction, ainsi que de la supervision des activités visant à promouvoir le travail des sénateurs auprès de différents publics et sur diverses plateformes.

De plus, le titulaire exercera un leadership stratégique pour soutenir et gérer les différentes facettes des activités de communication interne du Sénat, y compris les messages et les produits de communications qui sous-tendent les engagements du Sénat en vertu de la Loi canadienne sur l’accessibilité et les initiatives du programme de la vision et du plan à long terme (VPLT).

Enfin, le titulaire doit superviser la recherche et recommander des activités de sensibilisation et de communications susceptibles d’accroître la visibilité du Sénat auprès du public canadien et des médias. Le titulaire est chargé de veiller à ce que les produits et les messages soient adaptés au public ciblé et répondent aux besoins des clients tout en utilisant divers formats et plateformes.

Le poste de gestionnaire, Communications stratégiques, est l’un des cinq (5) postes qui relèvent du directeur général, Direction des communications, de la télédiffusion et des publications. Le titulaire de ce poste aura 14 subordonnés directs, dont des rédacteurs, des réviseurs, des conseillers et des agents chargés des communications, un agent chargé de l’accessibilité au Sénat et les coordonnateurs des événements du Sénat.

**Admissibilité**

Ce processus de sélection est ouvert au grand public pour doter un (1) poste de durée indéterminée (permanent, à temps plein) à la Direction des communications, de la télédiffusion et des publications.

Il pourrait être utilisé pour pourvoir d’autres postes à durée déterminée ou indéterminée de même niveau et comportant des exigences similaires.

**Conditions préalables**
- Diplôme universitaire en communications, en journalisme ou dans un domaine d’études apparenté;
- Vaste expérience du domaine de la communication, dans un environnement où les activités se déroulent à un rythme soutenu, notamment en ce qui concerne la rédaction de notes d’information et de présentations pour des cadres supérieurs;
- Expérience de la supervision d’équipes fournissant du contenu, des produits, des services et des conseils à des clients de haut niveau;
- Expérience de la gestion des relations avec la clientèle et les médias;
- Expérience de l’élaboration de stratégies de sensibilisation des clients et de mobilisation des intervenants à l’intention de divers publics internes et externes;
- Connaissance des théories et des principes liés à la rédaction, à l’édition, à la publication et au contenu de marque dans les formats traditionnels et numériques;
- Connaissance des exigences de la _Loi canadienne sur l’accessibilité_ et des obligations de la direction en matière d’élimination des principaux obstacles à l’accessibilité;
- Connaissance des méthodes, outils et pratiques de promotion et de planification d’événements visant à accroître la visibilité de divers programmes et activités;
