**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Department: Food and Beverage
Job Title: Server / Bartender
Reporting to: F&B Supervisors and Manager
***:
Stocks bar, takes F&B orders, mixes and properly serves alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food to patrons following F.M.G.C. standard recipes. Presenting and maintaining a friendly, pleasant, neat and hospitable image and helpful service attitude to guests and members.
**UNIFORM**:
Golf Club approved top and black pants, shorts, or skirt, black apron, neat and clean closed toe shoes and name tag.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Responsible for keys and float when required.
- Responsible for all listed opening and closing, and cleaning duties.
- Stocks and prepares fruit/vegetable for drink garnishes.
- Responding in a courteous and professional manner to all guest questions, requests, and complaints.
- Maintaining good relations with guests, members, and fellow staff.
- Complying with F.M.G.C. policies, house rules and regulations.
- Responsible for checking identification for proof of age and monitoring the alcohol consumption of patrons according to AGLC standards.
- Knows and explains menu items, specials, substitutions, taste, etc. to guests.
- Takes F&B orders promptly and accurately.
- Responsible for seeing that all food/beverage for service bar are rung in appropriately prior to service and are accounted for.
- Prepares bills and accepts payment on behalf of Fort McMurray Golf Course for items sold. Remits the appropriate total amount at the end of each shift according to Fort McMurray Golf Course Control procedures.
- Prepares and balances nightly beer and liquor inventory.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, training sessions, cleaning shifts, and event planning as required by the manager and/or supervisor.
- Performs other occasional duties when required such as special functions, as required by the manager and/or supervisor.
**RELATION TO OTHER JOBS**:
Work in conjunction and co-operation with other staff members, supervisors and department managers.
**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
