What You Will Do:
As the Financial Analyst within the Decision Support team, who reports to the Manager, Finance, this

individual is a key contributor responsible for the reporting and analysis of industry trends, the

company’s business drivers and results. The team is responsible for the reporting and analysis for

Fidelity Clearing Canada that is presented to local senior management and Fidelity head

office.

Key Accountabilities:

- Conducts and documents financial and economic analysis in support of strategic decision-making initiatives under direct supervision.
- Develop, manage and regularly present a reporting framework, including revenue and expense reporting, metrics reporting, client benchmarking, and budget variance analysis.
- Ensure assigned standard reporting responsibilities are efficiently delivered and continuously improved.
- Identify and implement solutions which improve efficiency and effectiveness through the elimination, simplification, and automation of processes
- Take ownership for ensuring all work and/or processes are documented.
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholder and management across the organization.
- Contribute towards adhoc analysis and projects as required.

What We’re Looking For:

- University/College Degree, with a focus in business (Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or Mathematics/Statistics) or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years of experience working in a finance department with experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and/or business planning required
- Financial Services industry experience is an asset
- Completion of or working towards a financial/accounting designation (e.g. CPA) and/or CFA or MBA is preferred
