We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate and Truck Driver to join our team

As the **Warehouse Associate and Truck Driver**, you will be responsible for duties in warehousing and transportation of goods. Specifically, in coordinating and receiving shipments that enter and leave the warehouse, well as pickup and delivery of goods throughout the lower mainland, all while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and partners.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an organized and tidy warehouse, including performing regular inventory checks
- Pick orders from within warehouse and prepare them for customer pick-up
- Receive shipments and monitor condition of goods upon arrival
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Coordinate deliveries, including planning routes, preparing required documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Safely operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain records of transportation of goods and record trip details ie. cargo Info, distance travelled, gas consumption, etc.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety regulations and requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Other warehouse duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous warehouse experience or knowledge of warehouse distribution process
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Proven experience as a truck driver (5-ton truck) or in a similar role
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Familiar with Lower Mainland trucking routes
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. for loading and unloading cargo
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) as required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Excellent organization skills and a strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Willingness to learn and grow this role

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
