Physiotherapy Assistant

We are a multidisciplinary clinic in Orleans looking to hire a **Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant**. This is great opportunity for someone to join an established clinic along side Physiotherapists/Massage Therapists within the clinic and several Doctors located in the medical building

**English & French literacy as well as computer proficiency are essential**

We are located on the retail floor of a medical building at the intersection of Innes & Tenth Line street.

**Previous experience (at least 1 year) at a Physiotherapy/Medical clinic is an asset**
- Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Assist physiotherapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Removing modalities off patients, and ushering patients to front desk to rebook
- Cleaning beds, cleaning counters, washing/drying laundry, folding laundry
- Daily cleaning and tidying of the clinic treatment areas, staff areas, and washrooms
- Ensuring Inventory cabinets and Physiotherapy cart checklists are completed
- Responding to online appointment requests in a timely manner
- Scanning of appropriate reports, charts and other documents into file import daily
- Booking patient appointments, taking payment, and handling various patient and practitioner inquiries
- Direct bill private Insurance at time of patient's appointment
- Follow up on paperwork/payments for WSIB, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Blue Cross (Military)
- Comply to Employee Handbook
- Posting social media content to market clinic

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a physiotherapy assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with hospital or healthcare settings is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
